We are thrilled to present the 18th Annual Strawberry Festival, a beloved downtown Durham event. This is a child-centered, family run, community fun-focused event for the entire Durham Community hosted by Central Park School for Children (CPSC). Children’s ingenuity combines with community volunteerism to raise funds for CPSC’s mission of All Children Thriving, all during a trash-free green event!
Over 5,000 children, parents and community members of all ages will gather to enjoy a fun-filled family day while raising money for our students. The festival features:

$150 or 10% of Profit
Vendor booths have a 10’ x 10’ reserved area and may sell family friendly merchandise, food and beverages (no alcohol permitted). Vendors are responsible for supplying any and all tables, tents, signage and supplies for their booth and must be set up by 10:30 am the day of the event, and be open from 11am – 4pm. Please note this is a GREEN event; all packaging, utensils, cups, etc. must be compostable or recyclable.
$250 or 10% of Profit
We have a designated Food Truck location between our Elementary School and Cocoa Cinnamon on Foster Street from 11am – 3pm the day of the festival. Vendors may NOT sell alcoholic beverages. Please note this is a GREEN event; all packaging, utensils, cups, etc. must be compostable or recyclable.
$75 or Provide activity
Community booths allow organizations to distribute information, collect contact information and/or promote a brand. This option is perfect for non-profits and other organizations that want to promote their organization but are not selling merchandise. Festival attendees “pay” to participate in your activity with tickets purchased at the festival (100% of ticket proceeds support CPSC). Organizations are responsible for supplying any and all tables, tents, signage and supplies for their booth and must be set up by 10:30 am the day of the festival. Please note this is a GREEN event; all packaging, utensils, cups, etc. must be compostable or recyclable.
This is a volunteer-led event that relies gratefully on our families, students and extended community members to raise money to support our unique school. We’re looking for people who are eager to contribute to any of the below areas.
