Extended Learning Programs

Before school, after school, clubs, and camps.

We offer a variety of options for Extended Learning. Your student will enjoy engaging counselor-led activities, outdoor time, quiet/reading time and choice activity time (during which they can do homework if they choose.)

Before School Program

Before school programming runs from 7:10-8:00 at both schools (before school care is free from 8-8:10).

Breakfast (assorted oatmeal) is available during this time.

Payment Information:

Before school costs $50 per month, regardless of the number of days per week attending (1-20).
Before school is $25 per month for each additional sibling.

Before School Policies:

On days when CPSC opens late due to inclement weather, before school will be canceled.
Parents must walk to the building and counselors will sign their children in at the Lower School. Upper School students may sign themselves in.

After School Program

Please note: we do not offer after school on the last day of any academic quarter.

Schedules may change depending on club needs and counselors.

Lower School Program:

Lower School After School runs from 3:15-6:00 every day. The schedule is as follows:

3:15-3:30 Snack and attendance
3:30-4:15 Outside play
4:15-5:30 Choice time: art projects, building, science, and outdoor activities, stamina reading (3-4)
5:30-6:00 Chill-Out time with a second snack/Clean up time
6:00 Pick Up (Late fees are $1 per minute after 6:00)

Upper School Program:

Upper School After School runs from 3:15-6:00 every day. The schedule is as follows:

3:15-3:45 Snack and indoor/outdoor free time
3:45-4:30 Academic Time/Stamina reading
4:30-4:45 Assembly
4:45-5:30 Enrichment Time – guided activities in arts, tech, sports, and more!
5:30-6:00 Clean Up and Pick Up (Late fees are $1 per minute after 6:00)

Drop Ins:

Drop in’s are $50 per day.

Drop in’s are a courtesy offered to families that may experience an emergency or just simply need care a few days a month!

Invoices generate on the 1st of every month and are due by the 15th of each month.

*If your account becomes delinquent without communication with Justin, your student’s Procare account will be suspended until payment is received.

Procare

You will also need to register EACH child in our Procare system, which is the platform that we use for invoicing and payment collection. There’s a separate $20 registration fee to create an account with Procare. ***Procare charges this fee automatically to create a profile and this fee is separate from any ASP or camp fee.

NOTE: IF you have an account from last year for any ASP, intersession camps or clubs you DO NOT need to create a NEW account. ONLY CREATE a new account with Procare if you have never used it here at Central Park. If you’re unsure, please email Justin at justin@cpsfc.org.

Clubs

Every quarter, CPSC students can choose from an assortment of extracurricular clubs.

Clubs meet at least once a week (most will meet twice a week) , after school from 4:15pm until 5:15pm.

Payment Information

Clubs are an extra cost per child. Prices range from $100-$125
Club payments can be made via Procare

Clubs are a separate cost from our after school program
Payments must be made prior to the first day of the club

Policies

Clubs are open to all CPSC students, whether or not they’re enrolled in After School
Club fees are in addition to after school fees
Clubs do not include care after 5pm. A fee of $1/minute will be charged for late pickup
On early dismissal days, clubs will NOT MEET!
No clubs on school holidays
If we can’t offer a club due to low enrollment, you’ll receive a full refund
If you’ve registered for a club that is full, the After School Director will contact you to see if you would like to be placed on a waiting list or in another club

If your child is not happy in the club after the first week, you’ll receive a partial refund, prorated for half the amount
No refunds will be given unless you cancel at least 3 days before camps or clubs start
Google forms will be sent out for you to choose and sign up. Most clubs have an ~20 person ca

Parents must register their child(ren) in Procare, in order to attend clubs
Registration opens within 4 weeks of each quarter
